Perfected since 1979, Bucksmore Summer combines varied English language lessons in small classes of no more than 11 students with a well-rounded social programme. It is ideal for students on their first trip away from home and those looking for more attention than a typical summer camp. Designed to help students communicate confidently in English, the dynamic syllabus is created by Bucksmore's Academic team specifically for juniors in a summer school environment and is suitable for all levels from beginner to proficient.
The 'English Plus' option includes specialist workshops in Coding, Veterinary Experience and 'Bucky Adventure' (Please note there is an additional fee of £175 per week for the English Plus courses)

Plumpton College is an amazing location at the foot of the South Downs and only 20 minutes away from the seaside town of Brighton. The College is an agricultural college during the academic year and as such it has a working farm; an Animal Care Centre; stables including one of the best horse-riding schools in the country; and beautiful grounds which can be used for outside activities.
The Millfeld Street Campus summer school offers a packed programme of 15 hours of tuition per week, with a choice of General English, Academic English, Cambridge Assessment English or Global Young Leaders. In addition there is a huge range of sport and creative activities on offer plus a full social programme to keep teenagers busy all day long. This large, famous co-educational boarding school in the Somerset countryside has fabulous facilities including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, golf course, tennis centre and riding arena. Special options here include amongst others: cooking, dance, DJ-ing, robotics, swimming, tennis and musical theatre. The Cambridge Assessment option includes a 6-week pre-arrival online course and an offical exam at the end of the course.
The Millfield English Language Holiday Courses are well established and take place during the Summer. In previous years the courses have attracted over 1,000 students aged 6-17 years from over 50 different countries. Many choose to return year after year. Currently there are two campuses, and they join together to create one big family at various times throughout the course. Millfield is located in an ideal location for students to enjoy visiting some of the very best locations that the U.K has to offer. Excursions include trips to Bath, Cardiff, Oxford, Bristol, Warwick Castle days out to the local beaches and theme parks.
The Holiday Courses are accredited by the British Council, are members of English UK and Quality English and are a Trinity and a Cambridge examination centre where there is an enviable success rate with exam results.

The educational experience provided by St Edmund’s College Summer School is intended to compliment your child's teaching and learning at home. The Summer School was founded in 1996 and takes place on the historic campus of this Catholic boarding school. The course provides 22 hours of class based teaching per week, either Global Skills in English or Global Skills International. This is a 2-week course combining 15 hours of English lessons per week with either 6 hours of Harry Potter-related activities or 9 hours of improvisation and acting. The Harry Potter course includes a visit to the Warner Brothers Studio in London and a trip to Oxford to see dedicated attractions. Children are taught in maximum class sizes of 15 and the courses are suitable for all levels of English, including beginners.

This course is a fully-inclusive programme designed for children aged 13-17. Golf Academy
This is an exciting opportunity for golfers with some experience who want to improve their skills and enjoy playing golf with other students of the same age. Coaching is provided by qualified PGA coaches who offer a combination of 1:1 and small group tuition. Students will be able to improve their swing, putting, approach shots, hazard play, driving and iron shots during technical clinics. This also includes the use of video analysis technology.
As well as the technical aspects of golf, the course includes lessons in golf etiquette and the rules of play. The coaches will also help students read local conditions such as weather and topography. This is an ideal course for golf lovers who want to combine their hobby with learning English.
The course will be based locally and all clubs and equipment are provided. Students have access to a driving range, practice nets and putting green and the course also includes rounds of golf at local golf courses and the opportunity for competition.
Tennis Academy
This course is designed for tennis players who want to improve their game and have the opportunity to play competitive tennis whilst learning English. Lessons are taught by LTA qualified coaches on our outstanding school courts. Students will have the opportunity to play singles and doubles games, play on different surfaces and play competitively in the Summer School Tournament.
Students will receive group and 1:1 clinics to improve their ground strokes, service game, net play, volley and overhead shots. Coaching includes video analysis.
As well as the technical aspects of tennis, the course also covers health and fitness, choosing equipment and clothing, game strategy and the rules of tennis. Tennis rackets are provided.
This is a well-established summer school which offers young people the chance to study English through an exciting academic programme for 15 hours per week. Options include Academic Discovery, STEM Explorers, Future Business Leaders, an Introduction to International Relations or General English. The idyllic grounds and impressive facilities of Canford School give students a traditional British boarding school experience. Outside of the classroom, an exciting programme of activities and events are planned every day.
