About This Course
Caterham School’s International Summer Programmes offer an inspiring blend of academic learning, skills development, and cultural exploration for students aged 11–17. Set on a beautiful Surrey campus within easy reach of London, the programmes are designed to stretch students intellectually while nurturing confidence, independence, and global awareness.
Students can choose from three academic pathways: EDGE, Oracy, and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
The innovative EDGE programme unique to Caterham, focuses on digital literacy, artificial intelligence, leadership, and real-world problem solving, preparing students for a rapidly changing future.
The Oracy programme develops communication, debating, and public speaking through Model United Nations, mock trials, and Ethics Cup-style discussions. The EAL programme strengthens students’ written and spoken English through immersive language lessons and cultural experiences.
Learning is complemented by a rich co-curricular timetable, including sports academies, creative workshops, social events, and weekly excursions to London’s landmarks, museums, and theme parks. Students also benefit from Caterham’s WildCats Adventure Course, a unique on-site high-ropes and outdoor challenge facility that builds resilience, teamwork, and confidence.
With experienced pastoral staff on site 24/7 and a welcoming boarding environment, Caterham provides a safe, supportive, and truly international summer school experience that balances academic growth with friendship and fun.
