Sevenoaks School

There are two pre-IB maths courses, one for current Year 11 students wishing to study SL or HL Analysis and Approaches and one for current Year 11 students wishing to study SL or HL Applications and Interpretations. Both will cover similar material; however, the mathematical approach will differ depending on the course. Students are advised to have a GDC to help them best prepare and get the most out of these courses.

These courses are not aimed at students who have already completed an Additional Maths course.

The syllabus of the Pre-IB Maths Analysis Course and the Pre-IB Maths Applications covers similar topics. However, the teaching and learning approach is different.
