At Shrewsbury, all students receive 15 hours’ English language tuition per week in the afternoons. In the mornings, there are three different Academies to choose from each week: English Academy, Coding & Tech Academy or Sports Academy (Tennis, Golf, Horse-riding or Adventure Sports).


• English Academy - Multi-Activities, plus Active English sessions twice per week. Explore Shrewsbury town centre with your teacher, and explore British culture as you practice your English with friendly local residents. 5 extra hours of English tuition per week.

• Sports Academy - 12 hours of intensive sports coaching on four mornings per week. Choose one of the choices from below each week:
o Tennis (150 GBP/week)
o Golf (250 GBP/week)
o Horse-riding (275 GBP/week)
o Adventure Sports (275 GBP/week)
• Coding & Tech Academy - 12 hours’ of tuition per week. Students can learn the fundamentals of code, robotics and game design, or take their skills to the next level.

• Age range: 11-16 years
• Levels taught: Beginner (A1)* to Advanced (C1)
o *Beginner classes only offered up to age 14
o 12 international students maximum per class
o 15-20 hours’ English tuition per week, depending on selected Academy option
• Dates open: Wednesday 1 July - Wednesday 29 July 2026
o 2, 3 or 4-week options available
o 3700 GBP for 2 weeks (plus the cost of the academies)
• Accommodation: 1-4 beds, shared bathrooms
• Optional extras:
o Trinity GESE oral exam, offered on 14 July or 28 July: 130 GBP

A full sports and activity programme is provided in the mornings/evenings, as well as 2 excursions per week.
