Course Information
About This Course
This course is suitable for students aged 15 – 17 years. They will spend at least 7.5 hours a week in English lessons and then they choose between three and five other subjects from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Business, History, Geography and Art and Design. There are also additional workshops on Psychology, Theory of Knowledge, Further Maths and Boarding Preparation.
Students have an individual timetable based upon their subject choices wherever possible. There’s a sports lesson every teaching day, social activities in the evenings, trips on Thursdays and clubs on Sundays.
Course Highlights
- Students learn English for daily life as well as the specialised English used in subjects -
- They will learn research skills, produce written project work and give oral presentations -
- Class size is maximum 16, but usually 10 -12 -
- British Student Hosts are on duty at least 50 hours a week so students can practice English conversations every day
